You may opt out at any time, without creating an account and without any effect on the price you pay, by using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of every page.

Opt-out preference signals: If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt you out of advertising cookies and of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising. Use of Cookies

We use “cookies” to collect information about you and your activity across our site. A cookie is a small piece of data that our website stores on your computer, and accesses each time you visit, so we can understand how you use our site. This helps us serve you content based on preferences you have specified. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for more information.

Business Transfers

If we or our assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event that we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, we would include data, including your personal information, among the assets transferred to any parties who acquire us. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any parties who acquire us may, to the extent permitted by applicable law, continue to use your personal information according to this policy, which they will be required to assume as it is the basis for any ownership or use rights we have over such information.

  • The categories of personal information we have collected about you;

Cookie Policy

We use cookies and similar technologies — including pixels, tags, and browser storage — on our website at https://lashbrookdesigns.com. This cookie policy is part of Lashbrook’s privacy policy, and explains what we use, why we use it, and how you control it.

Your Cookie Choices

The first time you visit, a banner asks how you would like us to use cookies. You can accept everything, reject everything except what the site needs in order to function, or choose category by category. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting.

You can change your answer at any time, including withdrawing consent you gave earlier. Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of any page, or the button below. When you withdraw consent, we stop loading the affected services and delete the analytics and advertising cookies already stored on your device.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland: nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies is set until you choose. Elsewhere, analytics and marketing cookies may be set before you answer the banner, and you can opt out at any time using the controls above.

Global Privacy Control: if your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of advertising cookies and of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising. We honor this automatically.

Browser settings: you can also instruct your browser to refuse cookies from https://lashbrookdesigns.com. That is a blunter control than the ones above, and refusing strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the site — including the cart and checkout — from working.

We record your choice in a first-party cookie named lb_consent, which lasts 180 days. We will ask again when it expires, or sooner if what we use changes materially.

What is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of data that a website stores on your device when you visit. It typically contains information about the website itself, a unique identifier that allows the site to recognize your web browser when you return, additional data that serves the cookie’s purpose, and the lifespan of the cookie itself.

Cookies are used to enable certain features (e.g. logging in), track site usage (e.g. analytics), store your user settings (e.g. time zone, notification preferences), and to personalize your content (e.g. advertising, language).

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are usually referred to as first-party cookies. They typically only track your activity on that particular site.

Cookies set by other sites and companies (i.e. third parties) are called third-party cookies. They can be used to track you on other websites that use the same third-party service.

Types of cookies and how we use them

Strictly Necessary Cookies (always active)

These make the site work, and cannot be switched off. They keep items in your cart, keep you signed in, remember your currency and ring sizing preferences, support fraud prevention and payment processing, and store the cookie choice described above. We also use them for basic performance monitoring, so we can detect outages and slow pages. Without these we cannot provide the service you asked for.

Analytics Cookies

These tell us how the site is actually used: which pages and ring configurations people view, where the checkout becomes confusing, and what errors visitors run into. We use Google Analytics 4 for this. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors interact with our pages (clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement) to produce session replays and heatmaps. Clarity masks the text you type into forms, and we do not record payment details. Much of what we see is aggregated, but it includes pseudonymous identifiers that some privacy laws treat as personal information, so we ask your permission rather than describing it as anonymous. These cookies are not set unless you allow them.

Marketing and Advertising Cookies

We do use this type of cookie. They let us show you Lashbrook ads on other websites and services, measure which ads led to a visit or an order, and send you the marketing messages you signed up for. We use Google Ads (including remarketing and conversion tracking), the Meta pixel, the Pinterest tag, and Klaviyo. Cookies set by these third parties can be used to recognize you on other sites that use the same service. We also send order and event information to Meta from our own servers through Meta’s Conversions API, matched to the same events. These cookies are not set unless you allow them.

Some privacy laws describe this kind of cross-context advertising as “selling” or “sharing” your personal information. See “Do not sell or share my personal information” above for how to opt out.

Third Parties Who May Set Cookies

This policy covers our own cookies. The services below set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control:
